Asteya Fitness Manifesto
Healthy looks different on every body
Fitness and health is a dynamic and holistic experience.
Fitness and health is NOT defined by an end result; it is not a number on a scale, body fat percentage, inches lost or gained, body type or dress/pant size.
Practice exercise to feel good in the body you already have not the one you wish you had.
Honor your body through practices of self-acceptance and authenticity. You are already enough.
Setting exercise goals in a choice not a requirement; practice patience and don't cling to an end result.
You matter and you are important. Do not allow other people's perceptions of you to define who you are.

What Does "Asteya" Mean?
Asteya is a yama of Yoga and means, “non-stealing" or "avoidance of stealing from others”. By not coveting or envying what others have, be it possessions or physical features, you are free to realize that the source of all the solutions you seek outside of yourself are always present within you.
Asteya Fitness was created in order to provide an exercise environment where one could celebrate feeling comfortable in one's own body, rather than angst and frustration which typically results from exercising in traditional gyms or fitness environments.
Clients at Asteya Fitness are empowered to cultivate holistic health goals that focus on all aspects of well-being.
